The RSVP+ North Dakota website is currently being updated. If you are a volunteer and need to record your volunteer hours, please contact your regional RSVP+ ND office.
RSVP+ North Dakota is a federally and locally funded program that connects agencies with needs to volunteers with skills.
At the heart of all RSVP+ North Dakota activity is a team of RSVP+ North Dakota staff, the VISTAs assigned to them, Advisory Council members, and volunteers around our state who work every day to make a difference in the lives of our communities, our programs, our volunteers, and the clients they serve.
New initiatives help us recruit, retain, and recognize our volunteer force. These innovative initiatives serve as ways in which we develop a volunteer’s skills, give volunteers new opportunities for leadership and service, and deepen a volunteer’s commitment to strengthening their families and neighborhoods. None of these activities would be possible without high-quality people in key roles, visionary strategic planning, or support from our many stakeholder groups.
Our Volunteer Efforts
This past July through December, 2900 volunteers registered with RSVP+ North Dakota served 576 non-profit agencies, giving 236,750 hours of service. Volunteers also served 273,910 congregate meals, delivered 186,802 meals to the homebound, assisted 65,000 patients at health care facilities, helped half a million customers at thrift stores, and facilitated 1 million visitors to cultural heritage centers around the state.
These are just a few examples of what RSVP+ ND volunteers accomplish. We are grateful to the volunteers for everything they have done to better our communities. Thank you for your hard work and for the generosity of your time and talents. You have truly made a significant and tangible difference in North Dakota’s communities.
